Why Has Google Removed AdSense Ad Limit?
Google has recently revised its policy for AdSense ad limit and removed the restriction on the number of ads publisher can put on a single page. Currently, for content units, AdSense publishers may put up to three AdSense, up to 2 search boxes, and 3 link units.
- Improve We Content
One main cause for this alteration is to make an improved equilibrium between advertising and the quality content. Before, Ad publishers get around the advertisement perimeter by splitting the content into various pages through slideshows. Eliminating the restriction will encourage less slide-show based content, which everyone hates.
- Encourage Publishers to Test Ad Unit
Exclusive mobile-friendly advertisement units have been launched by Google. The reason behind this is- publishers are uncertain to check latest advertisement units. They do not wish to renounce any of the advertisement units that are presently going on. In the case they take away any of the advertisement units they are presently be used, it could probably result in a revenue loss.
- Making Advertisers Happy
If the advertisements are not being used by the publishers, businesses that are shelling out to advertise through mobile-friendly advertisement units are not getting an enough ROI. Mid-size publishers are the backbone of the internet.
